About
Michigan Aviation has supported aircraft at Oakland County International Airport (KPTK) in Waterford, Michigan since 1957. Today it operates a full-service FBO and an FAA Part 145 repair station maintaining piston, turboprop and turbine aircraft, including Cessna Citation CJ jets as an authorized Williams International FJ44 dealer.
What we do
We sell 100LL and Jet-A on the field and handle the ramp work that goes with it, so you can plan a fuel stop at KPTK without arranging it through anyone else.
Our repair station maintains piston, turboprop and turbine aircraft, from scheduled inspections through squawks found during a stop.
We plan and install panel upgrades, and troubleshoot existing systems, as an authorized Garmin service center.
We source components for work on the field and coordinate repairs and exchanges with manufacturers on behalf of owners.
Heated hangar space is available on the field for based and transient aircraft through a Michigan winter.
Office space on the airport suits flight departments and aviation businesses that want to sit next to their aircraft.
We coordinate strip-and-repaint work and the inspection and corrosion findings that surface once an aircraft is stripped.
